About the Role
Our client is seeking experienced Line Leaders to join their team in two key areas: Food Coating and Food Packing. These hands-on leadership roles are available on both day shift (6:00am–2:00pm) and afternoon shift (2:00pm–10:00pm).
Reporting to the Maintenance & Projects Manager, and working closely with the shift leadership team you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production line team, ensuring production targets are met, high standards in quality, efficiency, and workplace safety are maintained.
Whether you're leading a coating line or managing a high-speed packing line, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role in an evolving & progressive organisation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a small team across coating or packing production lines
• Communicate clear responsibilities, targets, and process improvements
• Monitor production flow and machine performance to meet output goals
• Troubleshoot issues related to coating, sealing or packing processes
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
• Support, coach, and motivate the team
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and technical teams to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Leadership experience overseeing a production or packing line
• For Packing Line Leaders: experience with form-fill-seal and end-of-line packing machinery highly regarded
• For Coating Line Leaders: experience in food coating production preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production goals
• Collaborative mindset and a willingness to lead by example
