Position Overview
GEMt is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Website Administrator and Customer Support Officer to join our team on a casual basis. This role involves maintaining and enhancing our WordPress websites, providing exceptional customer service to our clients, supporting course administration, and assisting with online product sales.
Key Responsibilities
Wordpress Development & Website Management
Maintain and update GEMt’s WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
GEMt global websites & e-shops
GEMt’s e-Learning Management System
GEMt’s Membership platform
Troubleshoot website issues, manage website’s plugins, implement new features as needed.
Ensure website security and compatibility across devices and browsers.
Scope, plan, initiate and manage through to successful completion website development projects across GEMt’s courses, products, e-Learning and member’s sites.
Drive business efficiencies through professional web development, HTML & Java coding
Customer, Courses & Memberships ‘Technical’ Support
Respond to customer & membership enquiries via email and phone in a professional and timely manner.
Resolve issues related to course registration, membership enquiries online purchases, and general inquiries.
Manage GEMt’s Zendesk Support desk platform including overseeing & updating customer service automations
Support regional team members with relevant training, collating course surveys, updating course agendas and other course related administration
E-commerce and Sales Support
Manage GEMt’s online domestic & regional e-shops, including product listings and customer enquiries.
Monitor and report on sales performance to support business growth.
Support product marketing activities including web-based & digital marketing publishing support
Marketing and Social Media Support
Support GEMt’s advertising and promotional schedule
Collaborate on marketing campaigns to promote courses, webinars and online products & services.
Research and develop best-practice SEO for GEMt websites
Coordinate & report on Google Adwords campaigns ; Meta advertising; and LinkedIn paid and organic campaigns.
Experience with Google Analytics
Design & Creative
Experience using Adobe, Canva and other graphic design software to create and edit advertising & promotional artwork
Qualifications and Skills
Experience using Microsoft suite of applications, including outlook, excel, teams and powerpoint
Experience using cloud-based SaaS including Zoom, Google Drive & Suite of Google applications, Adobe, Canva, Mailchimp, Typeform, Vimeo, YouTube, Meta Business and LinkedIn platforms.
Experience managing WordPress websites, including SEO best-practice, website development, troubleshooting, customization and plugin updates.
Proficiency with Zendesk software.
Familiarity with woo-commerce e-commerce platforms, shipping & logistics and sales transaction processes.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Contract Details
Hours: 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours during peak periods.
Location: Melbourne based, with flexible work arrangements provided
Equipment: It is expected the successful candidate will have readily available computer, internet & telephony resources.
Remuneration: $50-60PH Inclusive of superannuation
