About the role

DECHO CIVIL (AUSTRALIA) PTY LTD' is seeking a talented and experienced Civil Construction Manager to join our team. In this full-time role based in Sydney, NSW, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure the successful delivery of civil construction projects

Manage and coordinate the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective project execution

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards

Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team, offering solutions to complex construction challenges

Collaborate with the broader business to support the growth and development of the civil construction division

What we're looking for

Significant experience in a senior civil construction management role, preferably within the infrastructure or commercial sectors

Strong technical understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to develop and implement detailed plans and budgets

Proven track record of leading and motivating construction teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities

Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field

Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, and a strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
