Joss Group is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Site Manager to join our growing regionally based team in the Highlands area, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

This position can be based in Goulburn, Picton, Bargo or Highlands areas.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate construction activities, including subcontractors, to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget

Develop and implement project plans, schedules and resource requirements

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any issues or risks

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental and quality standards

Foster a strong safety culture and promote best practices among the site team

Liaise with clients, stakeholders and regulatory authorities as required

Lead, mentor and develop the site team to achieve project goals

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Civil Construction Site Manager or similar role

Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials and equipment

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field

Relevant construction industry certifications
