Collard’s is a boutique, family-owned and operated long day care and kindergarten with over 30 years of experience. Our centre is a true home away from home for both children and educators.

Our spacious playrooms are thoughtfully designed with beautiful wooden cupboards, wooden blocks, a cosy home corner, library, and a creative art area. Outdoors, children explore large sandpits, a traffic school, wrap-around verandas, and lush gardens surrounded by developing trees, providing a peaceful and inspiring environment.

We are a child safe organisation, committed to the 11 Child Safe Standards and hold zero tolerance for child abuse. Our educational program reflects the cultural and spiritual values of our families and local community.

A full-time kindergarten teacher delivers sessional programs in a dedicated kinder room – this position is not for a kindergarten teacher, but for a Diploma-qualified educator in our 3–5-year-old room.

About You:

Diploma-qualified (ACECQA recognised)

Experienced working with children aged 3 to 5 years

Self-motivated and proactive in nurturing and supporting children

Skilled in planning inquiry-based, play-based learning

Warm, kind, caring, and able to build strong relationships with children

Confident using strength-based behaviour management strategies

Strong understanding of the VEYLDF, NQF, and Education and Care Regulations, with working knowledge of the 11 Child Safe Standards

Excellent communication, time management, and computer skills

Fit, active, and hands-on, with a commonsense approach to practice
