About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Lead Educator to join our team at Little Lambs Early Education Templestowe. As the Nursery Room Lead Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our youngest learners, aged 0-2 years old. This is a full-time position based in Templestowe, VIC 3106.

What you'll be doing

Designing and implementing engaging, play-based learning experiences that support the developmental needs of children in the Nursery room

Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the wellbeing and learning of all children

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with families, partnering with them to support each child's individual needs

Supervising and mentoring Nursery room Educators, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment

Maintaining detailed records, observations and documentation to track children's progress and inform program planning

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

Diploma Qualification

Significant experience as a Nursery Room Educator or Lead Educator, with a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices for infants and toddlers

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of young children

Problem-solving skills, initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training

A valid Working with Children Check
