About CLIK Collective
CLIK Collective is a coworking space designed specifically for ecommerce businesses. Alongside flexible office and warehouse space, we offer logistics support and a close-knit community of entrepreneurs, makers, and online retailers. We opened our first site 10 years ago in Kensington and have since grown to Moorabbin, Vermont, and soon, West Footscray. At the heart of what we do is creating a supportive, welcoming environment - and that’s where you come in.
About the role
No two days are quite the same here, and that’s what makes it fun. We’re looking for an experienced, creative Community Coordinator to help build connections and keep our community thriving.
You might start your morning greeting couriers and chatting with members over coffee while setting up for the day. Later, you’re designing a poster for next week’s Lunch & Learn, onboarding a new business to our systems, or interviewing a member for the CLIK podcast. In between, you’ll help answer questions at reception, keep things running smoothly and play a big part in shaping the friendly, community feel of the space.
This full-time role is split between our Moorabbin and Vermont locations - wherever the events or action are. You’ll be part of a small team that’s friendly, helpful, and knows how to have a laugh while getting things done.
Looking to hire immediately.
In this role, you’ll:
Be a welcoming presence at reception - greeting members and guests, answering questions, and keeping things running smoothly throughout the day.
Plan, promote, and host monthly events, from casual breakfasts or lunches to workshops and trivia nights (with plenty of support from the Community Manager).
Create engaging posters, emails, Slack posts and newsletter content to keep members up to date.
Build strong relationships by getting to know members and their businesses, and encourage connections within the community.
Keep your finger on the pulse of what members are interested in and come up with fresh ideas to build community and support business growth.
Conduct onboardings and inductions to get new members set up and feeling welcome in the space.
Support our social media presence by creating reels, writing captions or jumping on stories as requested by the Marketing Manager.
Work with the Marketing Manager to plan, record, and publish monthly podcast episodes featuring one of our members.
Help out with day-to-day site operations including opening and closing the site, handling deliveries and mail, unpacking the dishwasher, and keeping shared spaces looking great.
Resolve member issues with support from the CLIK team.
Occasionally lend a hand via our CLIK Teammate program (e.g. pick packing member orders for an hour)
What you’ll bring:
5+ years of customer service experience
Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Experience with events - whether organising, running, or getting people excited about them
Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or similar design tools
Experience with Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms is a plus
A passion for building and nurturing community
A driver’s licence and access to a car
What we offer:
A warm, community-focused work environment
Thorough onboarding and training to help you settle in
Opportunities for upskilling
Quarterly team events like dinners and bowling
Free counselling sessions
A day off on your birthday 🎉
