We are seeking an experienced and qualified Workplace Health and Safety Assessor to join our team on a short-term casual basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to ensure compliance of our safety system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive workplace health and safety assessments in compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
• Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend practical control measures.
• Prepare detailed assessment reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with external and internal personnel.
• Provide clear communication and training where necessary.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Workplace Health and Safety.
• Proven experience in workplace safety assessments and audits.
• Strong knowledge of Victorian OH&S laws and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Must have own vehicle and be prepared to attend site visits.

Details:

• Duration: 5 weeks
• Location: Melbourne, with site visits (KM rate paid)
• $55 per hour + Superannuation
• Potential of ongoing periodic assessment requirements
