The position

In your role as Marketing Assistant, you will conceptualise, develop and execute marketing functions to promote our various venues across south-east Queensland. In addition, you will be responsible for:

Planning, managing, editing and executing social media scheduling, using online platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok

Assisting with the development and execution of marketing, promotions and events across the company and its venues

Assisting with promotional events and activations across all brands

Copywriting marketing collateral including flyers, posters, websites

Designing and create imagery using for use across all social media platforms

Assist in the creation of EDMs

About you

Your passion for the hospitality industry will come naturally along with your ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Energy and enthusiasm, a positive attitude, a solid work ethic and superb attention to detail are some of the things we're looking for in YOU. To be successful in this position you will have:

Previous experience within a similar role - particularly with creating and editing social media content

A creative out of the box mindset with problem solving capabilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Tertiary Qualification in Marketing or similar field are highly regarded

Prior experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

High level of customer service, a friendly and approachable personality

Ability to work within the management team and independently as required

Experience using Canva, Wordpress, Myguestlist and Adobe suite is highly advantageous
