Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality and marketing, who is eager to learn and contribute to our clients' success. The Marketing Assistant will support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns for your clients, ensuring that our clients' brands are represented effectively across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign support: Create and manage engaging content for email marketing, social media and websites. This includes writing copy, designing graphics, and assisting the social media team to produce multimedia content.
EDM creation: Assist in creating and sending email newsletters, promotional emails and client communications, track and analyse email campaign performance.
Website Management: Updating and editing websites to feature upcoming campaigns and promotions.
Client Liaison: Liaising with supplier agents to implement campaigns and working closely with our Revenue team to develop offers, communicating with clients to understand their marketing needs and provide regular updates on campaign performance.
Video Content: Assisting the social media content creators with developing video content for clients and Switch.
Creating marketing material for trade shows and events.
Creating Marketing material for Switch to market our business to new clients.
Developing and implementing marketing promotional activity and ideas to increase visibility and positive reviews for our clients .
Updating OTA sites with any new imagery and room details.
Conducting market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and insights to inform marketing strategies.
Understanding of Online Agency systems (such as Booking.com/Expedia) preferred but not essential.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Skills:
Proficiency in social media platforms (Sked, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools e.g., Canva
Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp)
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
