Regional Nurse and Operations Manager | Veteran Health | $120K + Super | Hybrid

We are the leading Veteran Health provider specialising in delivering exceptional services to the veteran community in all stages of their return to civilian life.

In this pivotal role, the Regional Nurse Manager / Operations Manager is responsible for the clinical setup and operational readiness of all medical centers, ensuring they meet RACGP guidelines and accreditation standards. This role oversees clinical services for a group of medical centers and their associated mobile services. The manager ensures nursing standards, compliance, and protocols are maintained across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Setup and Operational Readiness:

Oversee the clinical setup of new medical centers and mobile operations.

Ensure all medical centers are ready for RACGP guidelines and accreditation.

Operational Oversight:

Drive business development for new site acquisition.

Support expansion and partnership initiatives.

Develop clear structure for nurse roles, including telehealth support and on-site assistance during mobile operations.

Quality and Compliance:

Ensure nursing standards, compliance, and protocols are maintained.

Be familiar with and adhere to infection control protocols.

Ensure all services meet compliance requirements and quality standards.

Implement Model for Improvement and PDSA cycles to enhance service delivery.

Obtain accreditation for Medical Centers and mobile service.

Team Leadership & Management:

Responsible for strategic oversight, monitoring KPIs, and overall logistics for clinical setup and service delivery.

Lead the team and manage workforce planning and resourcing.

Implement and improve processes and systems.

Ensure patient experience and quality assurance.

Requirements

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

Proven experience as a Practice Nurse or in a similar primary healthcare setting.

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practice nursing standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.
