Our client is currently looking for a Training Project Officer with knowledge to assist with designing, developing and coordinate comprehensive training programs and materials. These programs will support the effective delivery of training to election staff, and Returning Officers, ensuring they are well-equipped to conduct local government elections efficiently and accurately.

You will need to be well developed in thorough preparation, effective coordination, and continuous improvement in training programs. This ensures that all election staff are well-prepared to conduct local government elections with confidence and competence. Our client is looking for an immediate start and this project goes until Mid December.

Responsibilities:

1. Training Material Development:

* Create detailed and user-friendly training manuals, guides, and multimedia resources.

* Develop interactive training modules and e-learning courses that cover all aspects of election processes.

* Prepare all training materials for on-line and Face to Face workshops

* Ensure training materials are up to date with the latest regulations, policies, and best practices.

2. Training Coordination:

* Plan and schedule training sessions for Returning Officers and election staff, ensuring all participants receive timely and relevant training.

* Coordinate with subject matter experts to deliver specialised training on specific election procedures and technologies.

* Organise workshops, seminars, and webinars to facilitate continuous learning and skill enhancement.

3. Support and Facilitation:

* Provide hands-on support during training sessions, addressing any questions or concerns from participants.

* Facilitate group discussions and practical exercises to reinforce learning and ensure comprehension.

* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including election officials, contractors, and technology providers, to ensure training materials meet their needs.

* Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.

* Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to foster a collaborative and supportive training environment.

Requirements for the position:

1. Essential Skills:

* Software Proficiency: Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft software platforms (Office, SharePoint).

* Media Production: Ability to design, manage, improve, and document media production workflows.

* Training Coordination: Ability to coordinate training schedules.

* Quality Assurance: Understanding of quality assurance frameworks and systems.

* Project Management: Project management experience.

* Communication: Strong relationship-building skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

2. Documentation and Reporting:

* Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and feedback.

* Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on training activities, outcomes, and areas for improvement.

* Ensure all training documentation is accessible and organised for future reference.
