Permanent Part-Time Accounts & Admin Officer

(25 to 30 Hours Per Week)

Running with Thieves is an independent Western Australian brewery and distillery, producing a range of craft beers, premium spirits and crafted cocktails which are also marketed through the major retail chains and independent Liquor outlets.

Running With Thieves is located on the iconic South Beach and is prominent in the Fremantle hospitality and entertainment industry. This vibrant venue is also home to a fully operational brewery and distillery, a large bar and restaurant with entertainment, and a retail outlet.

Through growth and expansion, we are now seeking an experienced Accounting and Administration Officer to ensure day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions are processed timely and efficiently. This is a newly created role reporting to the Accountant and the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

- Reconcile bank Accounts in Xero

- Process Customer receipts into Accounts Receivables

- Reconcile Customer Accounts and follow up on unpaid amounts

- Process Supplier Invoices into Accounts Payable

- Reconcile Supplier statements and assist with processing payments

- Process and reconciliation of credit cards

- Process Staff expense reconciliations

- Work with and assist staff with queries.

- Assist the Accountant and General Manager as required.

Skills & Experience

- Several years’ experience in a similar roll

- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills

- Sound experience with Xero

- Team player with a proactive attitude

- High-level of attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to prioritise competing workloads

- Experience with DEXT, TANDA and EKOS highly desirable
