The Role
HT Services is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our experienced and supportive finance department.
We are offering part time hours of 16 – 24 hours per week with the flexibility in days/hours worked to the right candidate.

Role requirements/duties include:
Accounts Payable
Administering all incoming supplier invoices, matching to approved purchase documentation and attending to correct job cost and expense coding
Process timely and accurate payment of accounts
Raising monthly cost recovery invoices
Managing supplier queries and internal follow up
Reconciliations of supplier statements and follow up as required
Providing the Assistant Accountant support for month end close requirements
Providing consumables pricing quotes to sales and AM’s
Preparing staff expense reimbursements
Completing supplier credit applications and new supplier system set up
Assisting Finance and Operations Department with ad-hoc tasks
Other tasks as required
Skills and Experience
The person must be experienced and capable of working both autonomously and as part of a small productive finance team.
You must be comfortable with the multi-tasking nature of the role with the following key capabilities:
2+years’ experience in accounts payable preferred.
Well-developed knowledge of accounts payable principles and regular workflows
Experienced in account reconciliation with ability to analyse data and resolve discrepancies
Ability to confidently communicate with all internal and external stakeholders
Ability to pick up new accounting systems and new processes
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and administrative technologies generally
Competent in MYOB accounting system or similar
Sharp attention to detail
Time efficient with ability to respond as needed to ensure key deadlines met
