About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts & Finance Officer to join our team at the Quairading Community Resource Centre on a part-time basis. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the organisation's financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. The position is based in Quairading, WA 6383.

What you'll be doing

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and other reports for management and stakeholders

Liaise with external accountants and auditors to ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

Process payroll and manage employee benefits and superannuation

Provide financial advice and support to the management team as required

Assist with the implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and controls

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounts and finance role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements

Proficient in using Xero accounting software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders

Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
