About the role

Destiny Therapy Group is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in Sydney, NSW. This full-time role will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to our diverse client base. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalised treatment plans to help our clients improve their independence, functionality, and overall quality of life. This role is within the NDIS sector.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning

Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address client goals and needs

Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to help clients improve their daily living skills, mobility, and community integration

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team of each participant to ensure best practice service delivery

Document client progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with professional and organisational standards

Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy

Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a the NDIS sector

Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based intervention

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team

Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Ability to work from home under in-direct supervison, autonomousy and independantly.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering exceptional client care
