About the role
Therapy P.L.O.T. is seeking an experienced occupational therapist / lymphoedema therapist to join our dedicated and supportive team in Ipswich, Queensland. Full Time, Part Time, Contracting and Casual options are available, depending on your preference and location. If you have a special skill set or interest area, we will endeavour to help build your caseload within your preferred area!

As an occupational therapist at Therapy P.L.O.T., you will play a key role in helping adults (from 18 to 100+ years) regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and their families while working in a supportive, dynamic, and caring environment.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' functional abilities and support needs.

Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to improve clients' daily living skills and quality of life.

Collaborate with clients, families and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated care for clients.

Maintain accurate and detailed client records and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices.

Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.

What we're looking for

Degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.

Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role, preferably within a community-based or rehabilitation setting.

Strong clinical skills in assessment, goal setting, and the delivery of evidence-based interventions.

Understanding and practical ability to navigate different funding models such as NDIS, My Aged Care, Home Care Packages, Workcover, Medicare, DVA, Indigenous Health and Private Insurance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology to support clinical practice.

Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of clients and their families.

Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

NDIS workers screening check (or willing to obtain).
