We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver occupational therapy assessment and intervention via telehealth to clients.

About the Role:

As a telehealth occupational therapist you will play an important role in delivering high-quality, client-centred assessments, predominately with adults, although scope may extend to some children, and/or adolescents through virtual appointments. You’ll work closely with clients and their families to provide assessments and support —without the travel time.

You will have the support of a dedicated administration team to help schedule your clients and work with you regarding your administration requirements. You will also be supported by on the ground Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) to extend your reach and impact. This hybrid model allows you to focus on what matters most - using your expertise to guide, assess, and problem-solve, while our trusted AHAs bring your plan to life in person.

Who Are You?

You are a qualified Occupational Therapist that is committed to delivering top-notch services and continually seek opportunities to learn and grow.

Hold current AHPRA registration.

You are able to work autonomously and enjoy working with digital tools and adapting service provision for online delivery and confident in conducting assessments over telehealth.

Confident in writing clear plans and delegating to an allied health assistant to further maximise the outcomes for your clients.

Experience with NDIS and Aged Care

Have strong report writing skills

You thrive on teamwork and enjoy collaborating with colleagues, clients, and families to achieve the best outcomes.

Have a keen interest in building quality and supportive Occupational Therapy services within ATS.

What Will You Do?

Engage with clients of all ages to deliver functional assessments, intervention planning and capacity building supports via telehealth.

Collaborate with AHAs to implement therapy plans in our clinics, client's homes and across the community.

Work alongside our multidisciplinary team to support clients

Use your creativity and expertise to engage clients online, all while fostering an environment of trust and encouragement.

Prepare well written assessment reports and AHA plans to guide future services for clients.
