Joyce Mechanical Services delivers maintenance and support solutions to all industries, allowing our clients to increase their productivity and reduce operating costs. We have developed a purpose-built workshop facility in Paget to ensure we have the capacity and resources to deliver our full-service offering to the Mackay region and surrounding areas.

Due to continual growth, we have positions available for experienced Diesel Fitters in our Paget workshop. We offer a choice of roster, either 7:7 or 5:2, both dayshift ONLY.

The Role:

Performing detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and related components.

Conducting complete machinery rebuilds from the ground up, mostly on CAT & Komatsu.

Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Collaborating with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Key Requirements:

Trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting or equivalent.

Previous experience in bare chassis rebuilds and HME maintenance.

Strong diagnostic skills and a thorough understanding of diesel mechanics.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Casual hourly rate of $60ph or a full-time rate of $53ph.
