A great opportunity exists to join a highly regarded busy underground principal mining company in southeast Queensland, Bundaberg region.

• $65.00ph - $75.00ph + super
• FIFO from Brisbane or Maroochydore
• Tuesday to Tuesday shift patterns
• Attractive 8:6/ 7:7 roster - days & nights
• Challenging role where your skills will develop on UG equipment
• Full camp set up with meals and accommodation supplied
• Long term role with sick days and holidays

Duties of the role

Reporting into the maintenance leading hand and working closely with 3 other diesel fitters you will enjoy;-

• Workshop and field duties - maintenance and repair on UG mining machinery
• 75% working in the workshop and 25% breakdowns working UG
• Working on a range of machinery - Sandvik boggers and jumbos, CAT boggers, Epiroc simbas and trucks, Jaycon and Getman

Your value and experience

• Trade qualified Diesel Fitter (or equivalent experience)
• Recent experience working on UG hard rock mining equipment (desired but not essential)
• Strong diagnostic and breakdowns skills working on UG hard rock mobile plant
• Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised
• Ability to FIFO from Brisbane or Maroochydore (or DIDO in S.E QLD)
• Strong safety values
