About the Role:

As a Fire Designer, you'll be responsible for designing compliant and cost-effective fire protection systems including wet and/or dry fire services (depending on your experience). You'll work closely with project managers, estimators, and clients to ensure seamless delivery across a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed fire system designs and drawings (wet/dry fire) using AutoCAD or Revit

Ensure all designs meet Australian Standards, NCC, and relevant codes of practice

Liaise with engineers, consultants, builders, and project stakeholders

Support the estimation and project delivery teams with technical input

Review and amend design documentation as required throughout the project lifecycle

Conduct site visits (where necessary) for coordination and design development

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Fire Services Designer (wet or dry fire systems)

Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience highly regarded)

Solid understanding of Australian Standards and BCA/NCC requirements

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage design timelines and work collaboratively in a team

FPAS Design Accreditation (desirable but not essential)
