Hycadia is seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Fire Systems Designer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a foundational background in fire system design and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, who is eager to develop their skills further in a hands-on, supportive environment.

The Opportunity:

This role is ideal for a candidate who may not yet be fully qualified but has some industry experience and is ready to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate for this position will:

Assist in the design of fire protection systems in accordance with Australian standards and codes.

Produce and amend technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

Work on concept and detailed design under guidance.

Collaborate with other team members and external consultants.

Support project documentation and compliance activities.

Take initiative to solve problems and learn new skills quickly.

About You:

As a Junior Fire Systems Designer, you’re driven to learn, detail-focused, and ready to grow your impact in fire protection industry.

Some experience in fire systems design or a related field (e.g. hydraulic, mechanical, or building services).

Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.

Strong attention to detail with good documentation and communication skills.

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Australian working rights.
