Job Title: Control 4 Automation Programmer
Company: RSE Electrical & Home Automation
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Role Overview: As an Control 4 Automation Programmer at RSE Electrical & Home Automation, you will work under the supervision of the Automation Manager to ensure the successful installation, testing, and Programming of Home Automation systems via Control 4 Programming. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around wiring, installation, and troubleshooting of audio visual components. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn and assist in the wiring, installation, and commissioning of security systems including cameras, alarms, and intercoms. This opportunity is created for those that want to grow with future management roles available. The projects which are worked on are generally luxurious houses which require those with a good level of English.
Key Responsibilities:
Wiring and Installation:
Assist in the installation of audio visual components such as projectors, speakers, screens, and control systems.
Follow wiring diagrams and instructions to ensure proper connectivity and functionality of all components.
Work collaboratively with the installation team to ensure timely completion of projects.
Testing and Commissioning:
Conduct thorough testing of installed audio visual systems to identify any issues or discrepancies.
Troubleshoot technical problems and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with the Audio Visual Manager to commission systems and ensure client satisfaction.
Learning and Development:
Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills related to audio visual and security systems.
Shadow experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience in wiring, installing, and commissioning cameras, alarms, and intercoms.
Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and mastering new technologies and techniques.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all installations, including wiring diagrams, equipment lists, and test results.
Prepare detailed reports outlining project progress, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
Communicate effectively with the Audio Visual Manager to provide updates on project status and any potential challenges.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in audio visual installation or related field is preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring techniques.
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
