About the Role:
Join our friendly three-person team at Core Electronics, working hands-on to build practical, innovative internal software and hardware solutions:
Develop Python-based backend systems and custom AI-driven semantic search solutions (content embeddings, vector search, RAG).
Use Node-RED for easy-to-maintain automation of logic-driven workflows (status indicators, information displays).
Integrate internal tools via Magento APIs and optimise performance with Redis caching and SQL Server databases.
Prototype and implement Raspberry Pi hardware solutions for in-house applications.
Who We're Looking For:
Enthusiastic learner with an interest in Python, AI, and Raspberry Pi.
Comfortable exploring technology and contributing ideas—formal qualifications are not required.
Open to collaboration, receiving guidance, and growing in a supportive team environment.
Bonus Points:
Personal or hobby experience with Raspberry Pi or similar SBC hardware.
Interest in emerging AI and machine learning frameworks.
Perks & Culture:
Starting Salary: $63,000–$85,000 based on experience.
