The core function of this role is to support the CESR program delivery team to ensure the successful delivery of a payroll upgrade project and initiatives to our customers across Queensland Health for the benefit of all Queenslanders.

What you'll do

You will:

  • Deliver, monitor and report on work package activities against agreed criteria.
  • Monitor resources and expenditures within the agreed work package budgets against the project forecasts.
  • Support risk and issue identification, assessment and mitigation activities by ensuring risks and issues are documented, reviewed and escalated as appropriate.
  • Maintain program/project files in accordance with Queensland Health regulations and policies.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • Experience supporting complex project planning, reporting at program and project level, managing budgets, program governance, procurement, vendor and contract management. You will have attention to detail and be structured and methodical in your approach.
  • Extensive experience in project risk analysis, with a strong ability to track risk factors, identify potential impacts, and ensure proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Skilled in preparing structured risk reports, analysing trends, and presenting key insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Proven experience in minute-taking with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate meeting requests, manage inbox correspondence, and oversee reporting processes & schedules.
  • Understanding of onboarding and recruitment procedures, with a willingness to develop expertise in these areas.
  • Proven analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members.
