Manager – Financial Reporting & Compliance

We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent institution for a skilled finance professional to lead statutory reporting, audit processes, and financial compliance across a diverse and high-performing team. About the Role: Reporting to the Head of Financial Compliance, this key leadership role will oversee the delivery of the organisation’s consolidated financial statements, ensure compliance with reporting obligations, and manage taxation, fixed asset accounting, and general ledger oversight. You’ll also act as a financial advisor to executive leadership and drive continuous improvement in reporting frameworks and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and statutory reports.
• Manage the general ledger, asset register, and taxation functions.
• Provide strategic financial and compliance advice to senior leaders.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards.
• Foster strong internal partnerships to uplift financial literacy and business engagement.
• Drive best practices across financial control, compliance, and reporting functions.
• Manage and develop a high-performing finance team.

Short but Sweet:

We are seeking a technically strong finance professional with:

• Full CPA/CA qualification and 10+ years' experience in financial reporting and compliance.
• Deep knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and statutory obligations.
• Strong leadership experience in a medium-to-large organisation.
• Advanced skills in financial systems and analytical tools.
• A collaborative, customer-focused mindset and clear communication style.
