This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join a West Australian icon. You will report to a supportive head of finance and work alongside an experienced team of finance professionals. This role will give you the opportunity to take full responsibility for the financial accounting side of their business.

The Role

Preparation of the month-end management accounts

Manage the monthly and annual financial reporting process

General ledger maintenance and daily reconciliations

Manage statutory requirements - BAS, FBT, GST and Payroll Tax

Cash flow monitoring and weekly operational reporting

Detailed monthly analysis and reporting of departmental costs

Liaise with external stakeholders and third parties

Assist with the preparation of the annual budget

Preparation of the company's fixed asset register

Support the payroll, AR and AP Function

Review AR/AR aging reports

Ad-hoc reports and tasks as required by senior management

Requirements

Suitably qualified CA/CPA or equivalent

Previous experience gained at one of the Big 4 will be highly regarded

Solid understanding of accounting concepts and reporting requirements

Confident communicator with highly developed written and verbal skills

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office

Ability to take direction and work as part of a high-performing team

Highly organised with a keen eye for detail

Capable of multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines

Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
