Employment Type: Full-Time - If desired by the right candidate, this role could be structured as permanent part-time
Role Summary
The Head of Marketing leads the strategic and operational direction of the marketing function, responsible for driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across all channels. This role owns the brand voice and marketing calendar, manages a small team and agencies, and works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution.
Core Responsibilities
Planning and Management
Team & Capability: Manage and mentor a small internal team, external agencies, as well as collaborate with other departments and stakeholders
Marketing Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and communicate a unified marketing strategy that integrates organic, performance, influencer, showrooms and PR channels.
Content: Develop, organise and distribute brand-aligned content
Campaign & Calendar Planning: Own the global marketing calendar and campaign roadmap, coordinating across departments and regions.
Budget Planning: Define and manage annual and quarterly marketing budgets, including allocation for paid media, PR, influencers, content, and events.
Channel Strategy: Establish channel-specific goals and strategies (e.g., paid media, SEO, email, influencer, PR, partnerships, content).
Execution
Agency Management: Oversee agencies and freelancers to ensure performance and cost-efficiency.
Integrated Campaign Delivery: Lead the execution of 360-degree campaigns including product launches, sales events, and brand moments.
Creative Development: Oversee the development of on-brand, effective creative assets across all media formats.
Performance Marketing: Direct paid acquisition strategies across platforms (Google, Meta, YouTube, Affiliates, etc.) to meet efficiency goals.
Lifecycle & CRM: Optimise the customer journey via email, SMS, loyalty, and segmentation strategies.
Retail Support: Deliver in-store marketing campaigns and drive traffic to our showrooms
Events & Brand Activations: Plan and execute strategic events, pop-ups, and experiential campaigns.
Data & Optimization
Analytics & Reporting: Use data dashboards to generate actionable insights and hold suppliers accountable.
Customer & Market Insights: Leverage internal and external data to refine messaging, segmentation, and campaign planning.
Attribution & ROI: Track performance by channel and influence budget allocation.
Tooling & Technology: Ensure the marketing stack (e.g., GA4, Klaviyo, Shopify, PR/influencer tools) is optimised.
Testing & Continuous Improvement: Lead A/B testing program and post-campaign reviews.
