Construction Manager – Mechanical & Civil Works (Gold Mine Project, VIC)

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical and civil works on a major gold mine infrastructure project in regional Victoria. This is a key site-based role responsible for overseeing the installation of mechanical equipment (including ventilation systems) and all associated civil works such as foundations, earthworks, and structural concrete.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site delivery across mechanical installation and civil construction scopes

Oversee subcontractors and direct teams across structural works and equipment install

Drive project timelines, safety compliance, and quality standards

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and client stakeholders

Report on progress, resolve site issues, and maintain construction documentation

About You

Proven experience in both mechanical installations and civil works on mining or heavy industrial projects

Strong site leadership, scheduling, and contractor management skills

Practical knowledge of foundations, concrete works, and large equipment install

Trade or engineering background in mechanical or civil disciplines
