Our client is a leading Brisbane based studio seeking a seasoned Architectural Technician to join their team. Key Responsibilities
Work on hospitality/health/seniors living/civic/government projects
Lead design at times
Undertake and drive Revit documentation
Assist team members as required
Be part of an architectural design team delivering major hospital projects, community sports facilities and learning environments
Lead the design and development of architectural concepts and detailed plans for a variety of projects
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and the project team to translate frequently complex requirements into functional designs that deliver well resolved architecture
Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations and sustainability standards
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and documentation to support the construction process
Provide technical advice and support to the project team throughout the construction phase
Stay up-to-date with industry innovations and best practices in architecture
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards
Skills & Experience
Relevant qualifications in Architecture
Experience working on a diverse mix of projects
Solid Revit proficiency
Sound technical knowledge and understanding of the BCA
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills,
Positive approach with a willingness to learn and undertake all tasks of all levels
