Join our team as our Lead Theatre Technician (Production)

At Redlands Performing Arts Centre (RPAC), part of Redland City Council, you’ll be immersed in a vibrant arts environment located in the heart of one of Queensland’s most scenic coastal communities. RPAC presents programs of diverse experiences, as well as servicing the many professional and community clients who utilise the space and services every year.

RPAC is looking for a Lead Theatre Technician (Production) to join our Technical Services Team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the technical delivery and execution of live events.

You will lead technical teams across RPAC and Redland Art Gallery (RAG), coordinate productions, supervise events, ensure WH&S compliance, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, multi-venue environment.

Guided by our Values, your responsibilities will include:

Lead technical teams to deliver live events to the highest industry standards.

Operate as Technical Duty Supervisor during productions and events.

Perform a wide range of technical duties including design, vision, staging, and set construction.

Provide technical notes and ensure proper setup and maintenance of all equipment and systems.

Champion a strong safety culture, coordinate WH&S practices and participate in training and inductions.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, community clients, and artists to deliver a high-quality visitor and artist experience.

Has knowledge of current theatre equipment and systems.

You'll have a current C Class Driver's Licence.
