The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Key Account Manager to join our high-performing team. You will play a critical role as the primary point of contact for our valued clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and driving new business opportunities. Based in Sydney, you’ll manage key accounts across NSW and VIC, with regular travel to service strategic clients in Victoria and occasional trips to Queensland.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, trusted partnerships with key clients
Understand and anticipate customer needs, delivering tailored packaging solutions
Manage expectations and work closely with internal teams for demand planning
Sales & Business Development
Grow revenue through upselling and identifying new business opportunities
Conduct regular client meetings and present compelling packaging proposals
Negotiate contracts with a focus on value for both client and company
Product Knowledge & Consultation
Provide expert advice on our full range of packaging products and innovations
Stay ahead of market and industry trends to give your clients a competitive edge
Order & Forecast Management
Oversee rolling 12-month customer forecasts and work with production and supply chain teams
Ensure delivery timelines, product quality, and order volumes are consistently met
Customer Service & Issue Resolution
Respond quickly to concerns and resolve issues effectively
Strengthen client loyalty by exceeding expectations
Account Growth & Retention
Develop and implement strategies to grow existing accounts
Drive implementation of price movements and upsell opportunities
Monitor account performance and ensure KPI achievement
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
Liaise with cross-functional teams including Pre-Press, Technical, Supply Chain & Logistics
Provide regular reporting on client activity, sales performance, and market insights
Track slow-moving stock and ensure alignment with financial and operational goals
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a Key Account Management or B2B sales role
Background in packaging or manufacturing preferred
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Strategic thinker with a knack for problem-solving and client-focused solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Willingness to travel interstate (overnight travel required)
