Saigon Bakehouse 1 Pty Ltd T/A Beaudesert Bakehouse is well established Vietnamese style bakery in Beaudesert QLD 4285. We are currently seeking passionate, talented and hard-working Pastrycook/Baker to join our growing team and support our rapidly growing business.

Duties/Tasks

Maintaining the cleanliness of machines, tools and premises and abiding by company policies and procedures in relation to WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors.

Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough for bread, cakes, and patisseries from scratch.

Operating machines that roll and mould dough and associated products while focus being on consistency

coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products

Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times and ensure quality at all times.

Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with Occupational health and safety regulations

Emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment

Training and assisting junior team members.

Prepare the list of raw materials and order with suppliers.

About you

To be successful in this application the right candidate would be someone who has a strong passion for their craft in producing consistent quality products

All applicants must have the following:

A love for baking

Minimum 2 years of experience

Cert III in Baking / Patisserie

Ability to work in a fast paced/flexible environment

The ability to be punctual, reliable and hardworking

Have own transport

Passion and willingness to learn

Excellent communication, delegation and time-management skills

Salary Package

$73,000-$77,000 plus Super
