We're searching for an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join the senior kitchen team at a well-known beachfront resort in Coffs Harbour. This is a full-time, live-by-the-beach opportunity ideal for a Brisbane-based chef ready to relocate and lead.

The Role Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a large restaurant, pizza kiosk, and functions kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and kitchen leadership across the property.

What You'll Be Doing

• Run daily service across multiple kitchen outlets with a focus on quality and consistency
• Lead and mentor the team, stepping in as second-in-charge to the Exec Chef
• Contribute to seasonal menu development and daily specials
• Oversee prep, service, ordering, rostering, and kitchen cleanliness standards
• Maintain cost control, stock management, and compliance with WHS & food safety
• Deliver smooth operations across weddings, events, and resort dining

What We're Looking For

• Solid Sous or Senior CDP experience in high-volume venues – ideally resort, hotel, or multi-outlet
• Strong leadership and communication – you're confident managing staff and service under pressure
• A hands-on, calm operator who leads from the front and takes pride in quality
• Flexibility to work across multiple styles – à la carte, buffet, woodfired pizza, functions
• Ready to relocate – this is a full-time coastal role with immediate start
