Key Responsibilities:

Performing welding in flat, vertical and horizontal positions.

Interpret drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.

Process materials using hand tools, electrical tools, fixed plant and thermal cutting methods.

Inspecting work products for any defects with the ability to make necessary corrections.

Identify and apply distortion control methods.

Troubleshoot and diagnose solutions.

Work to health, safety and environmental standards.

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

Trade qualified – Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication or relevant trade qualification.

Structural manufacture experience essential.

Able to use FCAW, with experience in GTAW, GMAW, MMAW desirable.

Able to pass weld test to AS/NZS 1554.1 & ISO9001.

Able to read and work to detailed Welding Procedure Specification.

Working at heights and HRW tickets preferred.
