About the Role
WorkPac are seeking an experienced and dynamic State Manager to oversee and drive strategic and operational excellence across transport, logistics, and warehousing operations in Western Australia. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Fremantle, WA.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end transport, logistics, and warehousing operations across WA

Drive strategic planning and implement operational improvements

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting

Ensure strong commercial outcomes and overall profitability

Identify growth opportunities and improve operational efficiency

Provide clear leadership and mentor your team for high performance

Maintain a customer-centric focus and uphold safety and compliance standards

Skills and Experience Required

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior transport/logistics leadership role

Container transport experience highly regarded

Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities

Proven track record of managing budgets, targets, and performance

Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication capabilities

Ability to perform calmly and professionally under pressure
