The Role

End-to-end estimating process, ensuring accurate and competitive costings.

Oversee preparation of tenders, RFQs, and proposals across all aspects of the electrical industry.

Identify and manage risks, ensuring all proposals align with company policies and market competitiveness.

Work closely with operations to target key clients and opportunities.

Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Contribute to strategic growth by bringing market insights and commercial thinking to the table.

Overseeing and managing our electrical contracts from inception to completion.

Producing the company's progress claims for all projects.

Planning and implementing the procurement of materials and subcontractors.

Ensuring updated drawings and new information are promptly communicated and made available on site.

Documentation – manuals, as builts, safety certs, data entry for test results.

Preparing of SWMS and end to end execution of RFIs.

Preparation and analysis of end of month project costs report to the Director.

About you

5+ years’ experience in a senior or lead estimating role.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry standards.

Proven track record in winning tenders and preparing complex project costings.

Strong business development mindset, with the ability to engage clients and contribute to revenue growth.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficient IT skills, experience in estimating software and scheduling.

Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.

Demonstrated significant Contract Administration experience.

Proven experience working with architectural and electrical drawings.
