We are seeking experienced FSAs and cleaners to work in Residential Aged Care Facilities for Crewe Sharp in Burnie and Devonport.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Prepare, present and deliver delicious food and beverages to residents in accordance with Facility Food Safety Policies

Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen

Sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, benches & cutlery and disposing of rubbish

Setting the dining room for daily meals – you may get to engage with the lovely residents, so a bubbly personality is a must

Adhering to and supporting WH&S and general Food Safety Compliance activities – keeping accurate records of food temperatures and times

ABOUT YOU

As a Food Service Assistant you need to be energetic and seek to make a difference in resident’s daily living. Although this is a back of house role, meals are sometimes the residents favourite part of the day so we want individuals who can put a smile on the resident’s faces. This role requires you to be a very active person as you are on your feet for most of your shift!

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

Basic Food Handling/Safety Certificate

Previous experience working in an Aged Care facility or hospital setting

Current National Employment Police Check

Current Flu Vaccination

Covid vaccinated as per state government requirements

NDIS workers screening check clearance

Be willing to complete mandatory training through Crewe Sharp's onboarding process
