Customer Service Assistant - BOC Gas and Gear (Moonah, TAS)
Casual | $33.31/hr + Super | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join the team at BOC Gas and Gear's retail store in Moonah, TAS.

In this hands-on role, you'll be assisting customers at the front counter with enquiries and sales, operating the cash register and EFTPOS system, and supporting depot operations including handling and refilling gas bottles.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering exceptional customer service

Processing sales using EFTPOS and cash registers

Assisting customers with enquiries and product selection

Handling and rolling gas bottles for Swap and Go services (manual handling required)

Supporting back-of-house operations, including moving and refilling gas bottles

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

Requirements:

Previous customer service or retail experience preferred

Forklift licence highly regarded

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

Ability to pass a police check and pre-employment medical

This is a casual role with the potential for full-time employment for the right candidate
