Salary: Competitive salary for the right candidate, 40% pro-rata of sample range, Nb: upper range must have strong legal secretarial experience

The Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Office Assistant / Legal Secretary to support our General Counsel. This is a part-time in office position (15 hours over 3 days per week) ideally suited to a candidate who thrives in a support-focused role, with very strong organisational and administrative skills. The role will involve general office tasks, and requires the ability to work efficiently, in a confidential environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Supporting General Counsel with administrative and organisational tasks
Greeting visitors and maintaining a professional and welcoming office environment
Managing mail, calendars, and appointments
Organising and maintaining both electronic and physical files
Coordinating travel arrangements and assisting with event planning
Ordering office supplies and maintaining equipment
Processing amendments to documents including legal contracts and drafting basic correspondence
Assisting to process expenses and bills
General office upkeep and coordination
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or office support role
Legal secretary or background in property/finance is preferred, but not essential
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A proactive attitude with a willingness to assist across a variety of tasks
Strong competency with Microsoft Office and general office systems essential including word, power point (excel preferable)
A polished, professional manner and ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
Emotional intelligence, discrete, composed under pressure
