About the Role
CH CoLab is more than a coworking space, we are a hub for ideas, innovation, and community connection in the Central Highlands. We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and people-oriented Education Officer to lead creative group learning sessions, community programs, and introductory workshops for children, young people, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

What You’ll Do
Community Learning & Engagement
Design and deliver group-based programs for children, teens, and adults—covering topics like creative thinking, collaboration, basic business and tech skills, and more
Lead interactive early years and after-school sessions that foster curiosity and confidence
Host school holiday workshops and community pop-up activities
Support Emerging Entrepreneurs & Future Leaders
Provide hands-on support, basic training, and encouragement to young people and local entrepreneurs
Deliver introductory sessions on topics such as digital skills, idea development, teamwork, and communication
Help build a pipeline of confident, creative thinkers in our region
Contribute to CoLab Culture
Promote programs via social media, flyers, and community networks
Prepare workshop materials and ensure a welcoming, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Support evaluation, feedback, and improvement processes
About You
You’re someone who lights up when helping others learn. Whether you’re guiding kids through a fun group activity or showing a local business owner how to use digital tools, you bring energy, clarity, and empathy to everything you do.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Passionate about education, innovation, and regional community development
Confident leading group sessions with a mix of ages and backgrounds
Skilled at making technology and new ideas feel approachable
Friendly, reliable, and adaptable
Comfortable working both independently and with others
Available for flexible hours, including some school holidays or weekend activities
Essential
Blue Card (or ability to obtain one)
Experience in education, youth work, facilitation, community development, or small business
Nice to Have
Skills in areas such as communication, storytelling, digital tools, entrepreneurship or STEAM
