Your Role
As the Member and Volunteer Learning Support Officer, you'll be at the heart of empowering the incredible volunteer and member network across NSW. In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll design and deliver impactful training experiences, working closely with the Learning Coordinator to create high-quality resources that truly make a difference. You'll also play a key part in improving how we support our people by enhancing documentation, strengthening compliance, and streamlining systems using a variety of digital tools. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine creativity, collaboration, and purpose in a role that supports real community impact.
Your Responsibility
Support and deliver both live and resource-based training to members and volunteers
Assist with content creation, editing, and distribution of learning materials
Maintain and update member and volunteer learning systems, including the MAVS Portal
Contribute to the rollout of compliance documentation and ensure accuracy
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and respond to feedback
Collaborate with the Learning team while also managing independent tasks and deadlines
Support ongoing learning needs and projects across the Directorate
Profile description:
You Will Need
Clear, patient, and compassionate communicator
Enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to support others
Comfortable working both independently and in team settings
Passionate about community impact and supporting learning and development
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Technically-minded with a knack for learning new systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
Desirable Criteria
Experience with CRM systems
Experience in using design tools for creating engaging content
Experience working in or with volunteer/member-based organisations
