About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Superstar to join our team at The Bootlegger Bar in the picturesque town of Katoomba, NSW. As a casual employee, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a vibrant atmosphere in our lively bar. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your bartending skills and passion for the hospitality industry.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers with speed and accuracy
• Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons
• Maintaining a clean and organised bar area, stocking and replenishing supplies as needed
• Adhering to all relevant liquor licensing and food safety regulations
• Assisting with inventory management and reporting as required
• Supporting the bar manager and team in other duties as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the bar

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a fast-paced bar or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer, and the ability to make recommendations to customers
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure during peak periods
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
