About the role

We are seeking a team of enthusiastic and experienced Bar and Floor staff to join the Pottsville Tavern family. This casual role will see you working in a vibrant, community-focused venue located in Pottsville NSW 2489. You will play a key part in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our patrons have an enjoyable dining and drinking experience.

What you'll be doing

• Serving beverages at the bar, including pouring drinks and operating the cash register
• Restocking and maintaining the bar area to ensure it is clean, tidy and well-stocked
• Greeting customers, taking orders and delivering food and drinks to tables
• Providing friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests
• Adhering to all relevant liquor licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol guidelines
• Assisting with general venue operations as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar bar, hospitality or customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide friendly, efficient service
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities to effectively manage a busy environment
• A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
