Carrington Bowling Club is not your average Bowlo! We are a lively community hub and hospitality venue in one of Newcastle's fastest growing suburbs which is quickly becoming a hospitality destination! Our Bar offers a diverse range of products with a strong emphasis on Independent Craft Beer, premiums spirits, cocktails and coffee.

We are currently seeking additional friendly and enthusiastic bar staff to join our small team.

Experience as a supervisor in a busy hospitality venue is preferred but if you have strong interpersonal skills and the right attitude we can train you.

The position:

Casual Supervisor in a busy venue

20+ hours per week.

Potential for more hours and career progression for the right candidate.

To be successful in this role you will need:

Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry

Knowledge of liquor licensing regulations and health and safety requirements in the hospitality industry.

Available to commence immediately.

Honest, reliable & punctual.

Current NSW RSA & RCG.

POS operations and cash handling experience.

An understanding of Poker machines & Keno

Passion for providing exceptional customer service with a friendly attitude.

Ability to work well as part of a team.

Excellent personal presentation and communications skills.

Must be flexible and available to work varied shifts, including day, night, weekends and public holidays.

Experience with making coffee and cocktails will be highly regarded.

The ability to fulfil the duties of a bar supervisor, including opening and closing club premises, till reconciliation and leading staff is imperative.
