The Role As an Area Manager NSW RVM, your primary responsibility will be to oversee our RVM (Reverse Vending Machine) cleaning operations across the Northern Beaches, Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter Valley region. This role is responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards across a network of over 75 sites, ensuring compliance through regular audits and inspections, supporting and training new staff, and providing operational leadership.

Job tasks and responsibilities: · Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of over 75 RVM locations within the Central Coast / Newcastle region. · Conduct regular audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and service standards. · Perform hands-on cleaning duties as required to support the team and maintain standards. · Train, onboard, and mentor new staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality services. · Coordinate and conduct regular toolbox talks to reinforce safety practices, company procedures, and team updates. · Manage general administration duties, including scheduling, timesheet approvals, and inventory coordination. · Complete and submit reports on cleaning performance, incidents, staffing, and compliance metrics. · Ensure all operational activities adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and client expectations. · Act as the primary point of contact for any issues or escalations within your designated area.

Required Skills and Qualifications: · Prior experience in area management, facilities management, or a similar supervisory role, preferably in cleaning or waste management. · Strong understanding of cleaning standards, audit procedures, and safety regulations. · Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a mobile workforce. · Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills. · Competency in administrative tasks and report writing. · Current Driver's Licence (essential) -- this role involves frequent travel between sites.
