Teakle Wines is looking for a strategic, service-led hospitality professional ready to manage, grow and elevate the entire cellar door and direct-to-consumer operation. The Role

Based in Port Lincoln and reporting to the General Manager, the Cellar Door Manager will:

Lead the day-to-day operations of our cellar door and guest experiences

Drive wine club sign-ups, visitor conversion rates, and overall sales performance

Create and deliver signature wine tastings, public events, and member-only experiences

Manage stock control, POS systems, reporting and compliance requirements

Onboard, train and develop a high-performing team

Collaborate on marketing initiatives, social media content, and CRM campaigns

Represent the business in local tourism and trade networks

Ensure the venue and grounds are always guest-ready, on-brand, and commercially effective

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on both strategy and service, with the autonomy to make real impact.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the wine or hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of wine varietals, production methods, and the Australian wine industry

Passionate about regional wine, storytelling, and memorable guest experiences

Proven track record of excellent leadership in hospitality and sales environments

Experienced in cellar door or direct-to-consumer sales environments, and event planning

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Calm under pressure, highly organised, and a natural people person

Commercially savvy: confident with budgets, KPIs, CRM and guest data, inventory management and financial reporting.

Current RSA certification and a valid driver's license
