Housed within a beautifully restored 1922 Cold Store, Union Bridge is a Prohibition-themed Brewery, Distillery, and Restaurant offering a distinctive culinary and hospitality experience.

We’re searching for a motivated and experienced Cellar Door Manager to join our passionate team. In this key leadership role, you will work side-by-side with our Directors, inspiring a small and energetic team, whilst helping to shape an exceptional experience for our customers. About Union Bridge

Union Bridge is a Brewery and Distillery nestled in Cudlee Creek in the Adelaide Hills. We produce our own Vodka, Gin, Brandy, and soon to be Whisky, along with kegged and bottled Beer, Alcoholic Sodas and mixers.

Known for our relaxed atmosphere and stunning location, Union Bridge is one of SA's unique venues.

The Role

This role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious professional, looking to take the next step in Hospitality Management.

As Cellar Door Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and bar, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining the high standards that reflect our brand. The successful applicant will not only be an experienced hospitality operator with a passion for customer service and team management, but will also bring creative ideas to help the venue reach its full potential.

Your key focus will be to drive customer experience through excellent product knowledge, tailored service and attention to detail in presentation of the restaurant and bar ambience. This is very much a hands on role.

Reporting directly to the Directors, the Cellar Door Manager will be motivated and ambitious with a vibrant personality to join the team and contribute to our vision of excellence.

What we're looking for:

Experience in building a venue that is driven to succeed, thirsty for knowledge and driven to provide new concepts and experiences

Proven experience in Bar and Restaurant operations is essential.

At least 2 years' experience as a FOH Manager or similar within the hospitality industry.

Able to develop and implement strategies to engage with the local community, drive new business, and retain loyal customers.

Participate as a member of the senior management team, contributing to business planning and strategic initiatives.

Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Contribute to the development and execution of promotional events and programs.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with an engaging and energetic personality and a passion for hospitality.

Have a high standard of presentation.

Able to accept significant levels of responsibility and accountability

Marketing experience will be highly regarded.

An RP is essential.
