Your New Role
Reporting directly to the GM Corporate Finance + Treasury, your key deliverables are to provide twice yearly valuation model updates, support the treasury department with cash flow projections (in a project environment, reflecting project milestones), and support the business as usual decision support function, investment analysis, and business cases across the company. You'll interact regularly with external investment banks, corporate advisories, company executives, group finance team and finance business partners, project managers, treasury contacts (investors, note holders, treasury agents, and ratings agencies) and internal capital team.

Your Capabilities
To add value in this team, you'll bring with you the ability to create impactful complex financial models for projects (up to $1Bn in value), valuation expertise to deliver twice yearly updates to the company valuation model (alongside external valuation advisors), and have a grasp of treasury concepts. Advanced excel financial modelling is required and will be tested via case study as part of the screening process. You will bring your confident communication skills of formal report writing, presentation/slide deck creation skills, engaging interpersonal approach, and the confidence to present key information to executives and external parties. You are highly organised, a curious self-starter, and problem solver. You love a mix of core duties and once-off project based work where no two days are the same.

It is expected you have a bachelor's degree in a related analytical field, and a plus if you have additional post-graduate work towards a CFA, CTA, CPA, CA, or MBA of Masters applied finance/masters in finance. Experience gained through banking, corporate finance advisory, DCM, valuations, or equivalent corporate exposure would be highly regarded. Minimum 2 years corporate finance experience, likely you have 3-5 years experience beyond your bachelor's degree.
