The Role
The responsilities of the Business System Analyst - Finance involve the following:
- Leading the design and implementation of automated workflows and process improvements across Finance, Purchasing, and Asset ERP modules
- Providing authoritative advice on ERP configurations and processes to ensure alignment and compliance with Australian Accounting
- Acting as the ERP subject matter expert, delivering strategic enhancements and ensuring the system integrity of key Finance modules
- Play a key role in audit readiness and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into smart ERP solutions
- Champion data integrity and compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and internal policies
Our ideal applicant will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Financial Systems) or significant experience and demonstrated understanding of core business processes. You will require a high level of experience across administering, configuring and implementing new business systems whilst being able to critically evaluate and solve problems/present solutions.
You will be joining the team at an exciting time as the Town embarks on a culture of change with embracing of a wide range of new technologies, a large capitals works program, and a number of other projects that make the Town a desirable place to live and work.
Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- Tertiary Qualification or Significant Experience in a relevant discipline, e.g. Financial Systems
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class drivers license
- Rights to work in Australia
